The ECV team managed the project over three months with one hundred
and five children and fifty influential adults across seven sites in six
provinces, with support from the Norwegian Agency for Development
Cooperation (NORAD) and UNICEF. They held four rounds of participatory
meetings, using community publishing methods, conducted in five
languages: English, Shona, Ndebele, Braille and Sign Language. The
views gathered at the meetings were compiled into six publications:
- A book.
- A Braille version of the book.
- Three bulletins.
- A set of five posters.
- A Facilitator’s Guide.
- Audio/video materials.

ECV produced the following set of publications as part of an Informal
Economy Coalition, with support from the Centre for International Private
Enterprise (CIPE).
- Seven pamphlets, simplified summaries of seven themes from the
National Policy Framework for the Informal Economy.
- Seven posters.
- A Reference Guide, with summaries of key national and international provisions that promote the informal economy.
- A Facilitator’s Guide.
- Stories from the Informal Economy.
